Precision Sizing

The correct grip size is critical for ISSF shooting. A grip that is too large forces over-rotation of the wrist, while a grip too small induces tension in the flexor tendons.

Calculate Your Size

Measure straight across the knuckles (excluding the thumb).

Measure from the tip of the middle finger to the first crease of the wrist.

How to Measure

  • Use a rigid ruler or calipers for exact measurement in millimeters. Soft measuring tapes often curve and overestimate the width.
  • Hold your hand flat, fingers touching together, but not squeezed tight.
  • Measure the widest part of the palm strictly straight across the main knuckle joints. Do not wrap around the hand.
